Zero Sugar Lemonade
This non-GMO, zero-sugar drink is perfect for days when it is too hot or any time you want to quench your thirst with a naturally flavoured, sour lemon drink. It is prepared with commonly used ingredients; it is not fattening, and it is very easy to prepare. Taste the wonderful flavor of lemonade without having to worry about the calories!
- 4 large lemons approximately one cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 4 cups cold water
- 1/4 cup zero-calorie sweetener such as stevia or monk fruit
- Ice cubes optional
- Lemon slices and mint leaves for garnishing the drink.
Juice the Lemons: Juice the lemons and get about one cup full of fresh lemon juice. Squeeze to eliminate any seeds or pulp if you want your lemonade with a less chunk of it.
Mix Ingredients: Stir the lemon juice, cold water and the recommended zero calorie sweetener in a large pitcher. Mix it gently until your desired sweetener is dissolved properly.
Taste and Adjust: Mix the lemonade and if too sour you add more sugar or if too sweet you add more lemon juice.
Serve: To the remaining lemonade pour the top ice cubes in the serving glasses. If you wish to garnish the dish you can add small bits of lemon slices and mid on top.
